Yep, I’ve decided, my one more thing!
It’s Monday, and that’s the day, we proclaim what our one more thing will be…
having such lovely weather, and happy solstice, by the way, my one more thing will be hang drying my clothes outside on my clothes rack, instead of powering up the dryer…how lovely to have the sweet scent of the true outside on my clothes… and avoid all that unnecessary power and energy waste…
and you, what are you doing this week to help?
let’s read all about it!

Wow! How synchronistic! That’s what I was going to contribute! Our dryer broke last week, now we are a clothesline family! It’s such a great reward! I love being outside more, I love being more eco-conscious in my choices, I love the new relationship I have with the sun! Thanks so much for the inspiration of One More Thing Paulette!

I used to be so good about composting my kitchen waste but I just sort of fell off the wagon. This weekend, I had my son help me clean out the composting barrel and set it up so I am back in business.

Hah, the thermostat went out in our dryer a couple of years ago, so I strung clothesline in the basement (though it seems like there is never enough). If I need to get lint and cat hair off the dried clothes I give them a whirl in the dryer for 10 minutes and we’re ready to go! OK, I do miss pulling out warm, dry sheets in the winter.
I added a little side bar text block to my blog so I can update my “things” each week, maybe I’ll keep all of the items on there and see what really stick.
